INSTALLATION
Is this install safe? Will this harm my computer? Is it downloading something?
A software application is being downloaded to your computer. This software is approved for most PC and Mac computer platforms.
How do I install software for Webcam Wonders?
1. Make sure that your computer meets the minimum hardware requirements below
2. Make sure that your computer is connected to the internet
3. Start your browser
4. Go to the Webcam Wonders web page

a. Make sure that your webcam is plugged in

HARDWARE & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
What are the minimum system requirements for Webcam Wonders?
Hardware:
- Processor: P4 1.4 GHz, dual Core (or core 2) recommended
- Main memory: at least 512 Mb, 1Gb recommended
- Graphics cards: supports most graphics cards (Nvidia, ATI, Chipset Intel) and integrated graphic card on laptop
Software:
- Windows XP (SP2, SP3) with DirectX 9.0, Windows Vista (SP1) and Windows 7
Software:
- Mac OS 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6
PC: XP, VISTA & 7:
- Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8
- Firefox 3.x
Mac OS 10.4, 10.5 & 10.6:
- Opera and Chrome browsers are not supported yet.
- Webcam - most standard webcams with at least 640 x 480 resolution should work
(exception: Microsoft Lifecam Series are not supported)
What if I don’t have a webcam?
These greetings will not work without a webcam.
USING WEBCAM WONDERS
How do Webcam Wonders work?
1. Hold your card steady. Quick, jerky motions limit detection by your webcam.
2. Use under normal lighting conditions. Direct or bright lights can create glares.
3. Hold the card so it’s fully visible in front of the webcam. Partially visible cards cannot be detected.
4. Make sure the card is not bent or folded. Cards with creases can impair heir detection.
5. Avoid tilting the card to extreme orientations in front of your camera.
6. If you are still experiencing any issues with detection, please close and restart the application.
Does it matter what kind of webcam I have? Internal or external?

How close should I hold my card to the webcam?
For best results, hold the card so it’s fully visible in front of the webcam.
I can't see the front of the animation? Why do I need to tilt the card?
Tilting the card allows you to see the animation fully.
Why and when do I turn the card?
Turn the card when the animation either stops or starts to loop. Turning will either show you another scene or show you a 360° view of the animation.
I can see myself while the animation is playing. Is that the way this is supposed to be?
Yes.
All I see is me. Am I supposed to see something else?

Why does the animation not work?
Remember to check the following: your webcam is plugged in and installed correctly; you're in a well lit room; you're holding the card so it’s fully visible in front of the webcam; you've tilted and rotated the card to begin animation. I have a Macintosh and Webcam Wonders are not working. Why?
The minimum system requirements for a Mac are:
- Hardware:
- Processor: Intel CPU AND Graphics cards: NVIDIA display

How do I uninstall the Webcam Wonders software?
For PC
Click on Start -> All Programs -> Hallmark
Click on the greeting that you want to uninstall
Click on uninstall and follow the instructions
For Mac
Drag the greeting you want to remove to the trash

Where can I find Webcam Wonders?
You can purchase these cards in the 5 specified Clinton Cards stores.
Can I email this to friends?
Since this is not an e-card, you need the physical card for Webcam Wonders to work, however, you can email the webpage to all your friends so they can try the demo for themselves.
